President
Before beginning Solaris Healthcare, Greg was the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Vita-Tech Canada. His responsibilities beyond acquiring a DNA lab in Madison, Wisconsin and working with the USDA to become the lead lab for sheep herd management screening in support of scrapie eradication focused on geographic expansion for lab specimen collection services in Canada including Quebec and Western New York. The marketing thrust included a push to maintain the nominal use of in-clinic lab testing machines and increasing referral lab reliance by hospitals, universities and the animal health care industry where he grew the overall lab referral business beyond expected targets in his final year through an introduction of in-hospital wellness category growth programs.
These category programs produced the impetus for Solaris and continue to be main revenue generator for practice building. Included was a major shift to move from laboratory results being faxed to lab results being posted on a secure website and/or emailed directly to the practice and in some cases reducing the turn-around time to 3 hours.
He is a long-standing member of the Canadian Professional Sales Association and to date has delivered sales communication training to over a thousand participants.

VP, Marketing & Communications
Prior to Solaris Mark was with Vita-Tech Canada, reporting to Greg, where he was the Marketing Manager of Vita-Tech and its subsidiaries including GenMark DNA testing in Wisconsin. At Vita-Tech Mark was charged with implementing the direction of increasing referral laboratory diagnostics through better communication between Vita-Tech and their customers (practices), and practices and their clients (practice’s clients or pet owners). Mark utilized technology and traditional channels to increase veterinary practice client compliance and veterinarian use of referral laboratory tests through information, education and solid marketing tactics.
Mark builds, coordinates, and manages channels - including;
the web, intranets, extranets, fax, email, CRM, product and services catalogues and seminars - to ensure consistent, ongoing information leading to client acceptance and loyalty.
Mark’s ability to manage (and in many cases execute) delivery across multiple channels stemmed from his experience as a freelancer in account and project management capacities at various marketing and technology companies. His fortune 500 clients have included; HJ Heinz, Canada Life Assurance, The Citadel Assurance, CIBC, TD Bank, Campbell’s Soup, and Unilever to name a few. Mark’s primary responsibility has always been “project invention”, which includes business development and project management of projects ranging from those relying on buzz and viralocity to those with several hundred thousand dollars in investment.
